The school is involved in two fascinating interactive science projects related to awareness of fishlife. Monday, June 25, 2007. Our Blenny has become very brave, he is coming out from behind the rocks alot more and is swimming around for a long time. He must be getting more familiar with his new environment. Last week junior and senior infants made volcanos from modelling clay. We had lots of fun designing and painting the volcanos. We just hope that they will not erupt! We will have pictures of our work next week. This week senior and junior infants are busy caring for the environment. All the children received plastic gloves and they picked up all the rubbish around the school. We can now say that St. is a litter free zone.
Th ere are 27 pupils altogether in third and fourth. We have lots of fun working together on various projects during the year. The last project we completed was based on countries around the world. Each group, comprising of four pupils chose a country anywhere in the worl. Ia a small village located ten miles west from the town of Ballinasloe.
